Guys there are many problems in the metro cities of India but two major problems are pollution and worst traffic and to get rid of them is our first need.Moreover it is important to travel from one place to another comfortably.So today we are heading to know Pod system which is planning to construct between Gurugram to Delhi of length 12.3 km.

              Pod taxi is basically a driver less taxi which runs on electricity like a metro.But there are two major points which differenciate them to each other.Metro runs with compatments which are stick to each other but Pods are individuals and Pods are very small compare to Metros.So Pods can implement in the small areas where Metros can't run.To avoid traffic Pods can be used as alternative vehicle for transportation.The advantages of Pod taxis are that they can run really fast and if there are multiple stations then the ride is super convenient for the passangers,we just have to put these Pods on the bridge over a road.It is planned to construct pod taxis between Gurugram to Delhi, this project costs 4000 crore rupees.This system is not new for us there are some countries who used this systems for past few years i.e.Masdar city in Abu Dhabi and Heathrow Airport in London.
